My baby turns 3
Holy cow, time flies way to fast. My baby turned 3 on May 17th. Hailee is such a cute little girl, we love her to pieces. She is starting to think that she is as big as all of the other kids and can go do everything that they do. She has started to get a few friends that she loves to play with and it is so cute to watch. For Hailee's birthday she got a lot of new doll toys like a high chair, a stroller, a bed and a new baby. She loves her dolls. She is such joy to have in our home and she sure knows how to make us laugh.

Jordan's 6th Birthday
For Jordan's birthday this year he got Madden College Basketball 2010 and a huge bucket of army men. We did not have a birthday party for him because he got to do his favorite thing that day, which is to go play a sport. Jordan had a soccer game that day so we all went to watch him play and then took him to dinner afterwards. I can not believe that my little boy is 6 years old. It is amazing how time flies, it was just yesterday that we were moving into our house and he was just barely learning to walk. Now look at him, we can't keep him in one spot for long. He has a heart made of gold. We are so blessed to have him in our family.
Soccer in the cold
Jordan played soccer again this year. He had a lot of boys from our neighborhood on his team which I love because they seem like they push each other a little bit so they can do better then the other one. He improved quite a bit from last year and he is getting more enjoyable to watch. Jordan turned into a big ball hog and loved to have the attention he got while running it down the field. He does pretty good on both offensive and defensive sides but I think he would rather be running. This year he kicked a lot of goals. We have always known that Jordan was a soft hearted kid but we found out the truth when he accidentally kicked the ball right into a little girls face. He was very upset about it and continued to play but was very careful about how he kicked the ball. I can't wait for him to play next year with the bigger kids but I hope next year mother nature is a little nicer to us. We only had sun for 2 of his games and the rest were windy, rainy, or even a little bit of snow.

WAC Tournament 2010
This year, at the last minute, we decided that we had not had enough of watching the USU basketball team. So we packed up the kids and headed to Reno to watch the WAC Tournament and for a little family vacation. I was a little worried about the long drive but the kids did very well. We left Thursday morning at 4:00, thinking the kids would sleep most of the morning on the drive. Well, did that ever blow up in our faces? If we were lucky each one of them might have slept for a half hour of the drive. Reno was a new experience for all of us. Not one of us had ever been there and did not know what to expect. We stayed in the Silver Legacy which is attached to Circus Circus, so that was the entertainment for the kids. Before we left I had bought Jordan a new basketball so he could get all of the players autographs. That turned into his goal while we were there. He was pretty determined to get his ball signed. He always knew who else we had left. He was pretty excited that he even got Stew Morrell's autograph. Jordan has become our little sports fan and if I have to say so myself, I think it is pretty cute. We had fun just getting away, wandering around Reno, and watching the Aggies play.

We LOVE Aggie Basketball
This year we bought season tickets to the Aggie Basketball Games. We had so, so much fun going. The kids would get excited for every game that we went to. We love the atmosphere at the games. Jordan has become a very big Tai Westley fan. He will be playing basketball in his room and he is always saying that he is Tai. After watching the games we will see Jordan doing the warm up excercises and stretchs that the team does before the game. He is a lot of fun to watch. His dream is now to be a basketball player. We are pretty sad that the games are done at the Spectrum for the season, but here we come Reno! We can not wait till next year when we can go again. Go Aggies!!!
This is the kids at the game all dress in their Aggie gear.
Monster Jam
Josh and I took the kids to Monster Jam in February when they were in Salt Lake. The kids really enjoyed it. We went an hour and a half early so the kids could see the trucks up close and get their pictures taken by them. It was pretty cool to see how big the trucks really are. It was pretty loud but we took earplugs and noise did not bother any of the kids. Sorry the pictures are out of order so bare with me.
This is Monster Mut. He was pretty fun to watch also.

Back Surgery
Another exciting thing (not) that we have had going in our family is the middle of November I hurt my back somehow. I think it was just wear and tear over the years of having kids and my job but I woke up one morning with my sciatic nerve pinched. It was a pretty bad pain. I went to the doctor and he put me on steroids and pain med. Two weeks went by and it decided to switch legs. I ended up getting an MRI and found out that I had severly herniated disc. I went to 2 different surgeons to find out what I needed to have done. They both said surgery was my only option. So on Dec 9th I went under the knife. When I woke up my legs felt the best they had in the last 4 weeks. As of now I am feeling a lot better but I am not supposed to lift, bend, or twist. I know that may not sound bad because when they told me I could do that stuff I thought, "Oh, I will be fine. It will not slow me down that much." Well just try a day without doing those three things. It is really hard. My kids have had to grow up a lot and have become really good helpers. I am very blessed to have all of the love of our families and a wonderful ward that help us so much through all of this. Thank you to all of you that help us.
